Get the latest installer for your platform.
Download the installer for your operating system.
Run the installer and follow the prompts.
Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer.
Administrator privileges are required for virtual audio driver installation.
Set up your audio devices and routing.
Launch Troubadour and configure your audio setup.
1. Select your input device (microphone, application audio) 2. Select your output device (headphones, speakers) 3. Create virtual cables as needed 4. Build your routing matrix 5. Apply DSP effects if desired
Ensure your audio drivers are up to date. Try restarting your system's audio service.
Increase buffer size in Settings → Audio. Try exclusive mode for lower latency.
Some apps require exclusive mode. Close other audio apps and enable exclusive mode in Troubadour.
Right-click the app and select 'Open' to bypass Gatekeeper on first launch.
Run `chmod +x troubadour-*.AppImage` to make the file executable.
